1. The malediction over Kuldhara

15 km away from Jaisalmer, a land beholds the relic of this village which vanished one night without any intimation. Kuldhara was established in 1291 and flourished in leaps and bounds with as much as 84 villages in its vicinity. Threatened by an evil dewan, people from this village left one night and cursed the land. All those who tried to take over the land died a brutal death.

2. Indus Valley

An advanced civilization for its age, this civilization still remains one of the most intriguing and heated debate topics. City’s first settlers, their ideas, their plans and apparently where they went in 1500 BC is one of the greatest Indian mysteries. There are many stories about them being drowned or becoming the victim of invasion by Aryans but all of them are yet to be validated.

3. Bizarre explanation about the death of Lal Bahadur Shastri

He died because of cardiac arrest, which was his fourth as per the doctors who assisted him during his Indo-Pak war ending peace meet; however his wife expresses an entirely different opinion on this. She says he never had heart issues and his body had blue marks which root towards him being poisoned. Just a day after signing Tashkent declaration, he died under mysterious circumstances.

4. Ghost Soldier On duty

An Indian soldier who died near Nathula Pass in eastern Sikkim is said to be the saviour of all army personnel who serve in this region. Baba Harbhajan Singh is known as “Hero of Nathula” who helps army personnel in this inhospitable high altitude region of the Himalayas.It has become a common folklore among army men there and thus in his honor, they have built a shrine.

5. Taj Mahal or Tejomahalaya

P.K Oak wrote a book stating facts how the Moghul Emperor Shahjahan took Tejomahalaya from the then king of Jaipur by force and turned it into Taj Mahal.  The hullabaloo about the death of people who were involved in the making and several other facts related with the Taj are yet to be proven. Everything else is nothing but word of mouth which was induced in peoples’ minds.

6. Yeti sightings in Himalayas


Prahlad is an ardent devotee of renown Indian deity Amba; who claims to live without food for 70 years. Considering this, in 2010 he was kept under 24×7 surveillance for 15 days where to the wildest surprise of everyone, he lived without food and water. Even then he had no symptoms of starvation. This act of his survival remains a terrific mystery for many.

7.Sonic Boom of Jodhpur


As one might know, sonic boom is something that happens when an airplane breaks past the speed of sound, thus making it a rare sight, since planes do not fly at such speed when they are close to residential areas. What others believe to be an Air-force event, this sonic boom on December 18, 2012 remains a closed mystery. Army denied performing any such activity from their end and this boom clanged the entire city.
